Resurrection of Jesus – how to tap into the power of the resurrection for your life
The resurrection of Jesus really happened. Christ is risen! He is risen, indeed! Christians around the world celebrate the resurrection of Christ on Easter Sunday every year! Matthew 28:5-7 tells of this incredible miracle, “But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed…”
The Resurrection of Jesus – Is for your life everyday…
The resurrection of Jesus is a historical fact – witnessed by hundreds for people – the women at the empty tomb(Mt. 28:1-10), Mary Magdalene (Jn. 20:11-17):, two men on the road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13-35), 11of the disciples including doubting Thomas (Jn 20:26-28), plus over 500 other eyewitnesses.(1Cor. 15:6). The sealed tomb where Jesus had been buried is empty. Jesus is risen from the dead. (It was Satan’s worse nightmare – read about it – here) However, the resurrection is not an event to just be celebrated once a year. It is to be experienced every day in our life. The resurrection is the source of the power for you to live a life of victory.
The Same Power That Raised Jesus – IS IN YOU!
The resurrection of Jesus was the greatest demonstration of God’s power. It defeated the grip of sin and the sting of death, not only for Christ BUT for us. Now that same power is in you. That is exactly what Romans 8:11 says, “And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you. The same power that raised Jesus from death to life is in you, and if you tap into it, you’ll see an incredible transformation in your life! It is the power to overcome temptation, the power to persevere, the power to witness, the power to stand, the power to serve, the power to live the abundant life, and more.
Choose to Release the Power Within You…
Resurrection power flows out of relationship with Jesus. The apostle Paul said “That I may know Him, and the power of His Resurrection. …” (Philippians 3:10) The more you know Jesus the more you experience His power in your life. To release that resurrection power in get to know Jesus more and – BELIEVE! Most understand and know Jesus has power, but God has put that same power in you. Choose to believe. When you walk with Jesus and believe there is a constant release of His divine power and grace in you and through you.
Experience His presence – Experience His peace – Experience His forgiveness – Experience His joy – Experience His provision – Experience His love – Experience resurrection power in your life every day!
