God is for you, He’s not against you. It is amazing how many people blame God for their problems and all the troubles in the world. You will hear reporters, commentators, and even Christians attribute disaster and calamity as an “Act of God” or as God’s judgment on them or on a city or nation. Even insurance contracts use the terminology “act of God” to describe disasters in defining its coverage. I have listened to well meaning people while consoling parents who have 
God is for you – He Is Not Against You
There are those who even quote certain verses from the Bible to affirm their assertion of God’s wrath being executed on a person or people. But, Is God really behind all the problems in the world? Is He causing disaster, calamity and storms? Does God use sickness and disease to discipline people? Many believe and assert that He does.
This kind of reasoning has caused many to reject God and many others to doubt and question their faith in God. If God is the cause of all these problem how can you ever expect God to help you? This train of thought is a form of deception that has filtered through the minds of many and ends up robbing them of their faith.
To have victory every day in life you need to know the God is for you. God is not the source of your problems.
God’s Character is at Stake
What is really at issue is the character of God. What kind of God do we serve? How could anyone trust God if they thought He may strike them dead or inflict disease or disaster upon their lives. How could you have faith to believe God for help, hope, strength, direction, healing or anything else if you thought He was just looking for an excuse to strike out at you. In our society today, if a parent even spanks their child they are accused of child abuse yet we readily accuse God of much worse.
God is Good All the Time
God is good and He is for you! I want you to know unequivocally with out question – God is good! All the time God is good! God doesn’t have bad days. With God every day is a good day. The Bible teaches that God is good. He is morally upright and pure. He is just and righteous. There is not the slightest hint of evil, or sin, or wrongdoing in His nature. He is absolutely perfect and holy. GOD IS GOOD!
Psalm 34:8 says, “Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! Psalm 119:68 says, “You are good and you do good”
Ps 100:5 says, “For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.” Acts 10:38 says, “Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil.” Notice He did not go around doing evil or putting sickness on anyone. I could quote literally dozens of other verses to make the same point. Mark it down and don’t ever waver – God is good and He is for you!
You are More than a Conqueror
Here’s even better news. Romans 8:31 says this, “What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?” Once you know God is for you then you realize there is nothing that can defeat you. Victory is assured! You are “more than conqueror”. (Romans 8:37) You can have victory every day of you life because God is for you!
