The Greater One Lives in You
Think about that for a moment…. God Himself the creator of heaven and earth, giver of life, almighty God lives in you! 1John 4:4 says, “But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. ” The greater one lives in you.
Jesus is Greater
The spirit of Jesus is in you and He is greater than anything that you will ever encounter in this world. Jesus is greater than the devil. He defeated him at the Cross of Calvary. Jesus is greater than sickness, sin, and even death. Jesus is greater than any weapon formed against you.
Because the greater one lives in you you can have victory every day of your life.
Let the Greater One in You – Help You
You may feel frustrated or even overwhelmed by the problems of life, but praise God, the greater one lives inside of you. Let Him help you overcome and experience victory! The question becomes – How? How do you put the greater one to work in you life?
Declare God’s Word
The way you put Him to work is by declaring what the Word of God says He is to you. Declare that “He the greater one lives in you.” If you are facing sickness, declare, “Jesus is the healer who makes you healthy and whole.” If you are confused and wondering what to do declare, “The Holy Spirit is giving me wisdom and counsel.” If you are facing lack in area of your life declare, “Jesus is your provider.”
God Makes Sure His Word Comes to Pass
When you confess that the greater one is in you and you speak who He is – then the greater one in you goes into action and provides the help you need. It is the spoken Word of God that releases the power of God in you. “He watches over His word to perform it.” (Jeremiah 1:12) “His word will not return void, but accomplish what it was sent to do.” (Isaiah 55:11)
Greater is He than any trouble or storm that comes your way. Jesus is greater than your darkest moments. Greater is He in the most trying times. You are never outnumbered because the Greater One lives in you!
You have Victory – Because God Lives in You
The next time you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or fearful about anything, remember, the Greater One lives in you! He’s on your side. If God is for you, who can be against you? He has promised to guide and protect you and lead you into victory in every area of your life! Declare the greater one is in you and declare who Jesus is and watch the greater one go to work.
