Joy to the World the Lord is Come

DAY SEVEN – JOY TO THE WORLD THE LORD IS COME…

By the time Mary and Joseph reached Bethlehem, Mary was exhausted. To make matters worse, the tiny town was packed with travel-weary people. Joseph searched for lodging and found nothing. Luke 2:7 says, “Mary brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling clothes, and laid Him in a manger because there was no room for them in the inn.”   There was no room for Jesus the Savior of the world.   He was born in a stable and placed in a feeding trough for animals.   God chose to have His Son born into the world in a humble, lowly manger. Just as God had supernaturally directed Mary and Joseph to the little town of Bethlehem, He arranged for the Joy of the World to be born in a manger.

Make Room for Jesus

Today is the day! Today we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior into this world! Jesus is the Savior of the world! No doubt you have been enjoying Christmas songs throughout the month on the radio, on your phone, at church, and within your heart. “Joy to the World,” “Silent Night,” “Little Drummer Boy,” “O Holy Night,” “The First Noel,” “Hark the Herald Angels Sing”…  Today we sing – “Joy to the World, the Lord is come! Let earth receive her King.”  Make sure you make room for Jesus in all the business of life.

Good News

2000 years ago the angel announced that he was bringing good news of great joy. That good news was for everyone who puts their faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus is the only one who can bring us joy.

Jesus Brings Joy to the World

The whole world has reason to rejoice because Jesus came to be the Savior of all mankind. The Good News is God loved us so much he sent his Son to Earth on that first Christmas to seek and save us. The birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has no parallel in all of history. Jesus brings joy to the world through his salvation. Let Him fill you with joy not only today but every day.

Luke 2:10-11 – “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.”

Merry Christmas to You

Glory be to the newborn King! Immanuel – God with us. He is Christ the Lord. Joy to the world. Don’t miss the joy!

Have a blessed Christmas.
