4 PROMISES OF JESUS – for you right now
Promise Thinker verse Positive Thinker
You can possess 4 promises of Jesus’ just purpose in your heart to be a “PROMISE THINKER” – being a Promise Thinker instead of just a Positive Thinker! I’m all for being positive. There are far too many negative Christians. As believers we should be positive people however, it can be difficult to be positive in such a negative world.
Being Positive is a Choice
Being positive is always having an optimistic attitude no matter the circumstances. Having a positive attitude is a choice. You can either see the glass half empty or half full. The choice is yours. Being positive means you’re always thankful instead of complaining.
God’s Promises are in Reach – But They are Not in Your Hand (yet)
So, it is important to be a positive thinker, but today I want to encourage you to be a Promise Thinker. Too many believers are missing out on the promises of God. There are over 7000 promises in the Bible. All of God’s promises are in your reach however, they’re not in your hand. You don’t possess God’s promises by simply sitting around and waiting for them. They require you to act in faith.
Get Your Thinking Focused on the Promise
Being a Promise Thinker is someone who gets their faith focused on the promise of God. You get your mind thinking and meditating on what God has promised. You don’t think about what you don’t have or how bad things are or how unfair God is. Your thinking is on the promise. As a man thinks in his heart so is, he. (Proverbs23:7)
God’s Promises are Yes and Amen – not Maybe
All of the promises of God are “yes and amen”. They are not maybe, might be, or could be, they are yes and amen. Today I want to share 4 promises of Jesus that are for you now. As we reflect on Christmas and the birth of Jesus the Christ and prepare to step into a new year these are four promises you can possess now!
4 Promises of Jesus – 4 “Ps”
His Presence –
Jesus promised you His presence. Immanuel God with us. There may be times you feel like Jesus isn’t with you, but He will never leave you nor forsake you. Jesus is present with you. He said, “I am with you always.” (Matthew 28:20) There is nothing that can separate you from His love. Jesus promised you His presence – possess it now.
His Peace –
Jesus promised you peace. He is the Prince of Peace. When there are storms in life He will – Stills the storms. Even in the midst of the storm, He will give you peace. Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” So, don’t be worried or fearful about any of the world’s circumstances receive Jesus’ promise of peace – now!
His Power –
Jesus promised you the Holy Spirit. Which is the promise of the Father (John 14:16-17) Before Jesus went back to heaven, He told His disciples to “wait for the Promise of the Father” (Acts 1:4). Then Jesus said, “You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to Me…” (Acts 1:8) You have the power of God living in you. The same power that raised Christ from the dead. (Romans 8:11) So, you have the power to live the life that God has purposed for you. You can do all things through Christ who gives you the strength (power) – (Philippians 4:13)
His Pardon –
Jesus has promised to pardon you – He promises the forgiveness of your sin. This is our greatest need. You are forgiven. Jesus is the Savior of the world and He has promised your pardon. This promise is the most powerful demonstration of love. “But God demonstrates His own love for us, in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8). Don’t let the devil lie to you and condemn you. Receive the promise and be set free!
Be a PROMISE THINKER

Confess them over your life – “Jesus is with me always, I have the peace of God that passes understanding, The power of the Holy Spirit is working in and through me, I am forgiven”. Be a PROMISE THINKER!. Think and meditated on the promises of God. Take captive every negative and contrary thought and cast them out.
