Keys for Success – 5 Biblical keys that unlock true success
BIBLICAL KEYS FOR SUCCESS – GOD WANTS YOU TO SUCCEED
Before sharing the keys for success it is important for you to know and believe God wants you to succeed! Does that surprise you? Do you doubt God wants you to be successful? Many people do, but Joshua 1:8 says, “Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.” (NLT).
God Designed You to Succeed
God designed you to succeed. He did not create you to be a loser. Many don’t believe God wants them to succeed. Some go as far as to say, “it’s not God’s will for them to be successful”. However, the Bible is very clear – God wants His children to succeed. What father would not want his children to be successful? God is the most loving and awesome Father and He wants the best for you. He has good plans for you and for your future. (Jeremiah 29:11) “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.” (Proverbs 16:3)
What is Real Success
The problem is most don’t know what real success is. Success is usually defined in financial terms. However, real success is not found in possessions, power, or in great accomplishments, or any of the external things the world defines as success. Biblical success is becoming who God created you to be, doing what God created you to do, and possessing what God wants you to have. It is only then that you experience true fulfillment, peace, and joy. This is what real Biblical success is. Ultimately God will judge our success. Life is about serving the King of Kings and following Him and His plan for life not keeping up with the Jones or pleasing the and meeting world expectations. When you do that you will experience true success in life.
God’s Success Plan
Does God’s Word tell us how we can succeed? Absolutely. He provides in His Word the instruction and terms of success. There is no mistake what the Bible says. The only question is whether you believe it or not. In 3 John 1:2, we find one huge key to success in life: “just as your soul prospers.” In other words, a soul that is prospering or thriving is what causes all other areas of your life to thrive!
Have a Healthy Soul
Unfortunately, many don’t have a healthy soul. The soul is the mind, will, and emotion of a person. The health of your soul will affect the outcome of your life. If a person surrounds themself with toxic environments where God is mocked and people are filled with negativity, ungodliness, and fear it will lead to wrong thinking. “As a man thinks so is, he”
Invest your time in fellowship with God and hanging with Godly people who help build your faith and encourage you. Focus your mind on good and holy things. (Philippians 4:8) Nourish your soul by reading, listening to, speaking, and meditating on the Word of God
Why Does God Want You Successful?
Why does God want you to be successful? There are four main reasons.
First, to be a witness.
He wants your life to serve as an example of what His love and power can do in a person’s life. Your success becomes a beacon to a lost world.
Second, to be a blessing. We are to help those in need. God blesses you to be a blessing! (Gen. 12:2)
Third, to provide for your family. (1 Tim. 5:8)

believers who support the work of the Kingdom.

Without God, you cannot and will not ever experience real success. There are and have been many people who have amassed fortunes, built empires, and accomplished great things in this world without believing and trusting in God.

Stewardship guards against greed and other traps of success. Stewardship is the BALANCING KEY of success.
